The 24″ Meinl Planetary Tuned Gong G#2 Synodic Moon has a resonate frequency of 210.42Hz (G#2) on an A4=445.86Hz scale. Using the European gong-making traditions, the German-made Meinl Planetary Tuned Gongs use the calculations of Hans Cousto (The Cosmic Octave) to match the frequencies of the sun, moon, and planets. Each gong is tuned to produce the corresponding frequency.
