The DW 14×6.5 Performance Series Thin Copper Snare Drum (DRPM6514SSCP) features a polished and rolled 1mm copper shell with rolled bearing edges, 10 double-ended Performance Quarter Turret Lugs, True-Pitch 30 tension rods, triple-flanged hoops, MAG throw-off, 3P butt plate, 20-strand True-Tone snare wires, DW Coated White Snare Batter drumhead made by Remo, DW Hazy Snare Bottom drumhead made by Remo, a polished copper finish, chrome hardware, and DW Performance Series badge.
The Performance Series bears all the hallmarks of custom drums. This snare drum features a polished and rolled 1mm copper shell for focused and balanced attack, while offering darker tonality and complex overtones. This snare is fitted with Performance quarter-sized lugs and TruePitch tuning tension rods to help you dial in your snare sound with reduced slippage. In addition, DW’s signature MAG throw-off and 3P butt plate work in tandem to provide three different snare tensions with the flip of a switch. The polished shell provides a gleaming, on-stage aesthetic that is perfect for live performance.
